x 1hparrts Midas Mufflers win two, lose one in games The University of Water- loo Men's Volleyball team continued its winning ways this weekend in league com- petition at Wilfrid Laurier. They won 8 out of 10 games for the day defeating Laur- ier, Guelph, Brock and West- ern two games each. Western, McMAster and Waterloo are the three con- tenders for the West Divi- sion title this year. In the Warrior match with Western it was a battle for both games. Western was lead- ing both games until the en'd when-Waterloo came back strong to win 15-13 and 16-14. In one game with Brock the Warriors demonstrat- ed ability to compete against great odds. Brock was lead- ing 9-1 and the Warriors closed the gap winning it 15-11. The two games Wa- terloo lost were to a very strong, much improved Mc- Master team. Both games were again close with final scores of 15-13, 1543.
