Bursary offered A ti,000 bursary is being offered by the Nursing Ad- visory Committee of The Canadian Red Cross Society to graduate nurses regis- tered in Ontario. The award for the 1976-77 academic year, will enable an Ontario nurse to under- take further studies in Nursing at the Degree lev- el. The successful candi- date will be selected on the basis of training, nursing experience and leadership qualities Consideration will be given to the ap- plicant's anticipated con- tribution to Nursing in On- tario. N., who was awarded the 1975 Bursary, is currently working towards her Mas- ter of Health Services at McMaster University in Hamilton. Ontario. A hand weaver for 22 years, Mrs. Whitelaw dis- cussed the Assomption Sach. worn by voyageurs during the early fur trade era. As well as giving a brief hisoty of the sach, she brought samples to demon- strate to the members. The K-W Opti-Mrs. Club will hold a wine and cheese dance at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
