Both nurses will work in close coâ€"operation with lo cal health agencies and all community â€" services, inâ€" cluding the 22 affiliated Easter Seal service clubs serving handicapped chilâ€" dren in their areas. Miss Thompkins received her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Western Ontario. Her experience includes the Victorian Qrder of Nursâ€" ing, the Department of Naâ€" tional Health and Welfare and York ,Finch General Hospital. Jean Harris and Catherâ€" ine Thompkins will provide Easter Seal nursing serâ€" vices to almost 700 handiâ€" capped children in their combined areas. Miss Harâ€" is will serve Waterloo and Grey counties while Miss Thompkins will serve Kitchener and the counties of Dufferin and Wellington. A graduate of Newfoundâ€" land‘s _ Grace _ General Hospital, Miss Harris re ceived her Public Health diploma from Dalhousie University. _ Her nursing experience includes Grace General â€" Intensive â€" Care Unit and the Leeds, Grenâ€" ville and Lanark District Health Unit in Brockville.
