Both Waterloo Mayor Herb Epp and Kitchener Mayor Edith Macintosh will be the special guests of Toronto Mayor Paul God- Kathie Wardropper holds up the crest that will mark Kitchener-Waterloo Day at the Canadian Na- tional Exhibition on Aug. 20 in Toronto. Both Mayor Epp and Mayor Macintosh will meet with Mayor Godfrey at Toronto City Hall and then proceed in a motor calvalcade to the Princess Gates at the CNE. The cavalcade will consist of an antique fire engine, two Waterloo Regional po- lice officers on motorcycles plus a number of cars. Following their arrival at the Princess Gates, the cavalcade will be Joined by bands from the Twin Cit- ies including: the Dutch Boy Cadets, the Ventures All Girls Corps, the Flying Dutchman, the Kiwanis Kavaliers Drum Corps and Project People. Members of the Square Dance Club will entertain and D.J.'s from both CHYM and CKKW will emcee the activities. The cavalcade will then proceed to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre for the remainder of the days activities. Some of the entertainment includes the four bands from the Twin Cities plus bands and dancers from both the Concordia and Transyivaniaciut?s. - The public has not been forgotten as 50 prominent citizens will be honored at "Fascinating Shop for the Oo-ft Yourself" A a special luncheon at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre by the president of the CNS.
