Steve Garrett, a centre and the captain of the Eastâ€" wood team, was presented with the award during the annual Record Trophy dinâ€" ner held last Thursday night. Garrett, who was presentâ€" ed with the award by George Moser, Mike‘s father, was The Kitchenerâ€"Waterioo Minor Hockey Association held its annual dinner and awards night, April 7th, at the Waterioo Knights of Columbus hall. Trophies were presented to Tom MacMillan, left, captain in the Atom Minor division, Peter Young, captain in the Atom Major division, goalies Mike Bishop and Ed Seegmiller; Brad Schnurr, the hub league‘s highest scorer; Tom Woinoski, captain in the Bantam Minor division; Mark Harris, captain in the Midget Major division and Gord Dennis, captain in the Juâ€" venile division. The Fund was given a treâ€" mendous start when _ the Federation of Students at the university _ donated $2,000 on the evening of the Mike Moser Benefit Basketâ€" ball Game. If any persons are . still interested in contributing to the FUND, they are asked to make their remitâ€" tances payable to the UW Mike Moser Memorial Fund and to send them to the Uniâ€" versity of Waterloo, Waterâ€" loo, Ontario.
