Waterloo. Ontario. D.F. PRESTON Olly CLERK CITY OF WATERLOO COUNCIL CHAMBERS. CITY HALL MARSLAND CENTRE Wednesday. March 13, 1974 starting at 7 :30 p.m. 1. RE: Zone Change Application - North Side of Churchill Street at Amos Avenue The City of Waterloo has been requested to amend the Zoning By-Law to implement a draft plan of sub- division proposed on the North Side of Churchill Street and the West Side of Amos Avenue. The plan proposes two single family dwellings on Amos Avenue, sixteen town house dwellings on Churchill Street, twenty-eight semi-detached dwellings on a proposed cul-de-sac extending westerly from Amos Avenue. and two semi-detached dwellings on Amos Avenue. A block of land located at the westerly limit of the plan is to be used as an open space or park area. At the present time the property is zoned "Single Residence Two" (SR-2) which restricts development on the land to single family dwellings, _ M In order to implement the draft plan the applicant requests that the semi-detached units be zoned "Semi-Detached" and the town house dwellings be zoned “Medium Density". The existing Single Resi- dence Two (SR-2) zone would apply to the single family units and would not require an amendment. The open space area would be zoned green for park purposes. This public meeting is being held for the purpose of providing information and obtaining the participa- tion and co-operation of all citizens in determining the solution of problems on matters affecting the develop- ment of the Planning Area. Notice has been mailed directly to those in the subject area and ratepayers residing within 400 feet of the subject area. We honor . . . D.V.A.. Blue Cross. Gtoon Shiold and Walton Drug Plans.
