Mrs. Hicks rested at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo until 3 p.m. Wednesday when services were conducted in the chapâ€" el. Mrs. Hicks was mother of Samuel R. of Waterloo and was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. Enoch Steffler died Satâ€" urday Nov. 17, 1973 at the Kâ€"W Hospital, as a result of a heart attack. Born at Cornmwall England, she was a member of the First United Church Waterâ€" loo and was the wife of the late Jack Hicks who preâ€" deceased her in 1941. Hicks of 31 Erb Street, West, Waterloo died Sunâ€" day Nov. 18, 1973 at Heritage House St. Jacobs at the age of 92. Born 86 years ago, Mr. Steffler was a former St. Agatha area farmer and had been a resident of 33 John Street East, Waterâ€" loo for the past 10 years. A former member of St. Agatha RC Church and the Holy Name Society, Mr. Steffier was also a former member of the St. Louis RC Church and the Waterâ€" loo Senior Citizen‘s. Eighteen _ grandchildren and four greatâ€"grandchildren also survived.
