The new season tor the Kitchenerâ€"Waterloo _ Skatâ€" ing Club begins Oct. 20 to during which time all &rams of _ instruction get underway. This season will be the 35â€" th year for the nonâ€"profit community _ organization. Last year the club provided instruction to more than 2,700 registrants in its varâ€" ious programs of communâ€" ity learnâ€"toâ€"skate, and hockâ€" ey power skating. â€" â€" Women go to conference new season Those interested in the club‘s programs may regâ€" ister either by mail or at the rink at the opening sesâ€" sion. Registration by mail should be made to Kitchâ€" _A new added session is being introduced this year for boys, free of charge. The program will emphaâ€" size the speed and strength aspects of skating with a male instructor in charge. The purpose of the session is to give boys more of an opportunity to stay in figâ€" ure skating. The learnâ€"toâ€"skate proâ€" grams, offered by the Waâ€" terloo Community Services Board in coâ€"operation with the Kâ€"W Skating Club will run from Oct. 21 through to Dec. 23. The 10â€"week sesâ€" sion with one hour per week is for children from five to nine years of age on Sunâ€" day‘s at Moses Springer and McCormick Arena. Lessons are given by the club according to the levels of the National Skating test program. Any skater transâ€" ferring to another club or not â€" planning to register this year may obtain their National _ Skating _ Test Record Card from the club.
