BOAT SHOW-A show at The Mall in Cambridge lGaltl March 29-April 7 was billed as an outlet for local recreation dealers to show their wares in a central showplace. As well as four boats there were'five tent trailers includ- ing three Lionel hardtops from MacPherson Camping Centre. Cambridge and two soft tops from Koenig Manufacturing, New Hamburg. Also on display was a 1 3 foot Spindraft Sailboat from E & R Enterprises. Cambridge; a Toyota Land cruiser from Grand River Toyota and a Vega hatchback and a 1913 GMC pickup truck with a camper until from Bennett Chevrolet Oldsmobile Ltd. Football may be king of the Sunday "tube" watch- ers' society, but a fast grow- ing sport that had its roots before North America was discovered is fast gaining favor with those folks who would rather "do" than "watch."
