One of the main objecâ€" tives of the trip is a Lake Superior _ hike _ starting July 9. On that date the Canadian girls will meet with the American Senior Girl Scouts chosen for the hike. They will go to Camp Lakamaga, near St. Paul for orientation. The American girls come from 25 states. The group will be diâ€" vided intoâ€" seven patrols, each with its own adult counselor and will leave by bus for the north shore of Lake Superior. The girls will be dropped at seven points along the way including Hoveland, Minnesota, and Thunder Bay, Nipigon, Sault Ste. Marie, â€" Montreal _ River Harbour, Wawa, and Manâ€" itouwadge Junction, Onâ€" tario. Each patrol will hike 75 to 100 mile laps along the Lake Superior Great Circle Route toward Terrace Bay.
