14 Waterloo Chronic Bowling news By Bob Miller Last week bowlers in the sportsman‘s league thought for sure that they would see a perâ€" fect game. o In the second game of the night Hal Reibel started his game with 10 strikes His 11th ball slipped out of his hand and he missed the head pin which he then spared for a 425 game. In the third game Bev Parâ€" sons started with nine strikes in a row only to have his 10th ball get away from him. After the game I talked to him and he said he rushed his apâ€" proach causing his ball to go off to the right. I watched him after he had thrown his ninth strike and he looked a little nervous. I think he tried to wear out the carpet before he bowled in the 10th frame. I thought for sure he would be worn out before he threw his next ball: In the businessmen‘s league the Young Men‘s Club leads with 44 points followed by City Hall with 43 points and Uniroyal with 41 points.
