He is a member of the masonic order AF and AM and the Waterloo Young Men‘s Club. He served for nine years on the old Waterloo + school board before being elected to the area board two years ago. Neil MacEachern Neil A. MacEachern of 187 Alâ€" bert St., is seeking reâ€"election to the board of education. A native of Grey County, he was educatâ€" ed at Mount Forest high school, Durham model school and Torâ€" onto normal school. He has taught in a rural school, been viceâ€"principal of Preston public school and principal of Central Alexandra and MacGreâ€" gor schools in Waterloo. He and his wife have two sons, one in elementary and one in high school. During the Second World War he served with the RCAF here and in Europe. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Waterloo County Bar Assoâ€" ciation and First United Church. He holds an honors degree in economics and political science from the University of Westem Ontario, from which he graduatâ€" ed in 1949. Afterwards he studied at Osgood Hall and was called to the bar in 1953. A native of London, he has lived in Waterloo for 15 years. A barrister, solicitor and queen‘s counsel, he is general counsel for Dominion Life Assurance Co. H. B. (Brian) Edwards of 361 Redwood Place said this week he will be a candidate in the Waterâ€" loo County board of education elections, Dec. 7. He and his wife have four children. He is chairman of the Waterloo County Human Rights Association and a member of the Waterloo Historieal Society. He is a former member of a continuâ€" ing education seminar committee in Northwestern Ontario. William (Bill) Moyer of 256 Thorncrest Drive, said this week he will run in Waterloo for the Waterloo County board of educaâ€" tion. He is a member of Waterloo County Lawyers Association, Law Society of Upper Canada, Canadâ€" ian Bar Association and the Masâ€" onic Order of which he is a past mason. He is also a member of the session of St. Andrew‘s Presbyterâ€" ian Church in Kitchener. He was educated at Dundalk high school, the University of Torâ€" onto and Osgoode Hall. In 1959 he was called to the bar. The candidate is married with four children, one a student at Waterloo collegiate and three atâ€" tending Elizabeth Ziegler school. During an earlier term as town solicitor in Oakville, he worked from time to time for the local education board. Prior to that, he lived in Burâ€" lington for three years where he was the town‘s lawyer, as well as lawyer for Burlington board of education and public utilities commission. A native of Osprey Township in Grey County, he has lived in Watâ€" erloo since he was appointed city solicitor for Kitchener in 1967. Elmer Moore of 300 Braemore Ave., will contest one of Watâ€" erloo‘s seats in the Waterloo County board of education elecâ€" Election Day Monday Dec. 7 Elmer Moore Bill Moyer Mrs. Woolstencroft was at one time _ appointed _ to _ observe school board operations in a numâ€" ber of American states and Canâ€" adian provinces. She has spoken at teachâ€"ins, on public forums, and on radio and television reâ€" garding problems in education She â€"coâ€"authored a guide for Canadian teachers of disadvanâ€" taged highâ€"school students. At the present time she is a partâ€"time student at the Univerâ€" sity of Waterloo, where her husâ€" band is a professor. She has taught for five years, during which time she has been a â€" remedial â€" reading â€" teacher; taught English to new Canadâ€" ians and dilinquent, disadvantagâ€" ed and accelerated â€" students; represented _ Edmonton â€" public schools on two curriculum comâ€" mittees; been English consulâ€" tant for the City of Edmonton and the Province of Alberta and represented Northern Alberta at the National Council of Teachers of English in Washington, D.C., in 1969 A native of Saskatoon, Sask., she has attended schools in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Onâ€" tario. In 1965 she graduated from the University of Alberta with a bachelor of education in Enâ€" glish. Mrs. Lynne Woolstencroft, 27, of 72 Milford Ave., is contesting one of Waterloo‘s three seats on the Waterloo County board of education. Mrs. Thomas is the wife of a local physician and the mother of two teenâ€"age boys. She has lived in the Kâ€"W area since 1965, when the family moved here from Winnipeg. She has been a partâ€"time student at the Univerâ€" sity of Waterloo for the past four years. Mrs. Doreen Thomas of 370 Warrington Drive, said this week she will contest the Waterloo County board of education elecâ€" tions, Dec. 7. Lynne Woolstencroft Doreen Thomas She is the immediate pastâ€" president of St. Agnes Catholic Women‘s League. She is a former committee memâ€" ber of the Ontario + Teacher‘s Federation, _ former executive member of the Ontario English Catholic â€" Teachers‘ _ Association and the Regional and Unit Parâ€" entâ€"Teachers‘ Association. Mrs. Sehl is a lifelong resident of the Twin Cities and the mothâ€" er of two children, a boy and a girl. Former Twin City teacher, Mrs. Ann Marie Sehl of 173 Washâ€" ington Ave., will contest a seat on the Waterloo County separate school board. He and his wife, Leila, have seven â€"children, attending St. Michael‘s and St. David‘s schools and Waterloo collegiate. Before establishing Quigley Containers Ltd., of which he is president, he worked with the Canada Life Assurance Co., the Ontario Hospital Assurance Asâ€" sociation and Canadian Internaâ€" tional Papers. He was a member of the old Waterloo separate school board for three years. He served in the RCAF from 1942â€"1946 and the Canadian Ofâ€" ficers Training Corps, from 1947â€" 1950. He qualified as a captain in the Canadian Army Service Corps. â€" A native of Toronto, he receivâ€" ed his secondary education there. He graduated in arts from theâ€" University of Toronto and has completed post graduate courses at the University of Waterloo and Waterloo Lutheran University. Trustee Fred M. Quigley, 45, of 253 Albert St., will seek reâ€" election to Waterloo County sepâ€" arate school board, on which he has served since April.
