10 Bob‘s Shell leads merchants‘ A lea Bowling news By Bob Miller The 1970â€"71 bowling season is now entering its 10th week with many high scores being bowled so far. In the merchants A league, Bob‘s Shell is leading the league with 48 points Towne Bow!l is second with 43 points, followed by Granny Goose with 38 points. Bob‘s Shell also has the high team triple of 3983 and the high team single of 1447.‘ The individâ€" ual leaders are as follows: The high triple is held by Gerry Roeder with 983 followed by Ray Reidel with 957 and Ross Lederman with 941. In the high average, Ray Reiâ€" del leads with a 268 average folâ€" lowed by Bill Boettger with 267 and Me!l Schmidt with 266. Bev Parsons has the high sinâ€" gle with 383 followed by Ray Reiâ€" del with 378 and Bill Witt with 376. In the merchants B league the Elmira Royals are finding it tough to hold onto first place. They are leading the league with 43 points followed very closely by Seagrams and Beaupres, both teams with 42 points. A and A Sports holds down third place with 39 points. The individual ieaders are Ron Rumig leading the high average with a 241 folâ€" lowed by Dave Geach with 235. Don Clayfield and Tom Power are tied for third with 234. In the Kâ€"W ladies mjaor league Juliana Flowers are leading the way with 62 points followed by Helen Anne with 49 points and Herb Foresters with 47 points. Edie Strathearn leads in the high average with 255. Jo Feick and Thelma Thompson are tied for second with a 252 average. The high team triple is held by Juliana Flowers with 3625 and Merchant Printing has the high team single with 1346. The high triple is held by Joan Rickard with 880 and Dot Pawelâ€" ko has the high single with 397. In the sportsmans league there is a very tight race for first place. Three teams are tied for first place with 47 points each. They are Olivers Construction, Barrons Men‘s Wear and Uniâ€" royal. Harmony Lunch is in secâ€" ond place with 43 points. There is also a tie for high avâ€" erage with Bill Boettger and Clare Schaefer both at 271 folâ€" lowed by Gerry Roeder with 267. Gerry Roeder also has the high triple with 979 followed by Dick Clayfield with 973 and Hal Reiâ€" bel with 972. The high single is held by Jim Law with 385 followed by Bob Rabethge with 378 and Dick Clayâ€" field with 376. The high team triple is held by J. M.
