They certainly could not be inâ€" terested in the health of humanity and certainly not dedicated to anything of a compassionate naâ€" ture. They must be interested in a career that can bring moâ€" ney and fame...an easy job that does not have to produce any reâ€" sults and can go on forever and that pays very, very well!l The taxpayers‘ pay out millions of dollars for medical research that produces nothing! * What kind of men are they, these vivisectors? These men who experiment on living animals and cause them hellish misery. When two snakes establish conâ€" jugal bliss, that‘s amalgamation. But when a snake eats a mouse, that‘s absorption. I think amalgamation is the wrong word. A booming city like Kitchener, which hopes to at least double its size in the next 20 years, does not amalgamate with a municipality a third its size. It absorbs it. However, we must preserve our agriculture through southâ€" ern Ontario lest we become guilty of starving our children and grandchildren by the year I, along with the other citizens of this lovely little city of Waâ€" terloo, have been asked to exâ€" press my opinion on the proposed ‘"amalgamation‘‘ with our neighâ€" boring city of Kitchener. A previous argument against northern manufacturing centres has been the cost of transportaâ€" tion. I believe transportation would become cheaper when their markets increase. Heaven knows northern Onâ€" tario cannot produce in a market gardening structure because of the short growing season. It is highly questionable if any fruit tree can thrive further north than Barrie. Therefore, I believe northern development in the manufacturing field would be the sensible thing. | Readers‘ letters to the editor am attributing to H.D. Wilson‘s ability to confuse the public from his CHYM radio broadcast. In a similar vein, I can see the good sense in limiting the growth of cities for all of southâ€" ern Ontario. It is a well known fact this area has some of the best farmland in Canada. As you all know, my petition showed 87 percent in favor of keeping our present status. The vote of 83.9 percent was a deâ€" crease of 3.1 percent, which I May I take this opportunity to thank the citizens of Waterloo for their overwhelming vote in favor of remaining a separate city. He said that in so many words and concluded with the condemnation that vivisectors were either ‘"‘fools or scoundrels." If I had the power I would reâ€" write the code for animal proâ€" tection (It is a farce now) and I have met many of the vivisecâ€" ting broodâ€"men and womenâ€"and was never impressed. Their menâ€" tal reasoning is that of a 12â€"yearâ€" old chil¢. They must develop saâ€" distic tendencies and cruel streaks I have seen some of their dirty work and it is really atrocious. They seem to be obsessed with the idea of their own importance. Are they on the verge of insanity? They tell the press and the pubâ€" lic that anaesthetics are used alâ€" ways and that there is no cruelty in vivisection. How can they when their medical-‘joumals are full of the most weird, useless, painful and much repeated experiments? Their transplants are simply a racket (which is doomed to failâ€" ure) to get into the limelight and advertise and build up the medic‘s fading image.... They seem to think that viviâ€" section and its ultimate value (if any ) is justified and that the code of honor should be ignored. It is my opinion that the steady inâ€" crease in disease and the deaths by cancer are a strict warning of what is to come and should never be ignored. What makes these medics tick? They parade as men of Godâ€"men of religion. It is strange that such men...do not believe in retribuâ€" tion.... s295 00 Before _ and _ After Women‘s Conditioning â€" and Reducing Classes TUES. & THURS. 9 :30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Eight Weeks $15.00 6 Months for 30.00 1 Year for 45.00 Includes Sauna & Whiripool . They are tired of cruelty. Children should be taught that the life of every living creature is as valuable to that creature as is life to any child. It is an absurd idea that animals should be torâ€" tured and exploited in an attempt thopeless at that) to bring health to people who abuse their bodies in living to excess in overâ€"conâ€" sumption of alcohol, gluttony and other forms of selfâ€"indulgence. The teacher at school and parâ€" ents should have served not three months but two years. This is how stupid are our laws. Recently a boy got three months for doing to cats what he learned from vivisection and the schools where this goes on every day get off scotâ€"free and encourage cruâ€" elty to animals. They vivisect adults, children and animals and destroy the morâ€" als and health of the world‘s peoâ€" ple. make it stick good. I would lock these medics away where they could do no more mischief.
