Waterloo collegiate, tabâ€" . doid track, meet was held at Seaâ€" Both team and individual champâ€" fonships were awarded and points were gained, not for standâ€" ings, but for achievements of time, distance, etc. . _ Present at the event to keep WCI‘s finest in tip top shape was Grade 10â€"D and their refreshment boothâ€"which was aptly: named Fitton‘s Joint. Tuesday evening saw the WCI gym transformed into a parade ground as the annual cadet inâ€" spection took place. Wednesday proved to be the calm before the storm as activiâ€" ties again reached a peak. This morning was the first school council meeting after the annual meeting with the new board of control. This afternoon the girls comâ€" bined grace and dexterity as they executed the intricate (and not so intricate steps of a variety of folk dances. The folk dance comâ€" petition was held after classes in the gymnasium. Following this intramural comâ€" petition will be a city folk dance competition which will take place Mav 19. Waterloo collegiate is planning on entering three groupsâ€"hopeâ€" fully one elite and two intraâ€" mural winners. Junior, intermediate and senior assemblies will be held tomorrow afternoon. The programs will reâ€" wvolve around music as found within the school. They should prove to be interesting. After this week of whirlwind events, students will have the holiday weekend in which to reâ€" cuperateâ€"by what ever form of action or nonâ€"action they see fit. The flolowing Tuesday evening is the night of the big leadership picnic. The picnic may be reâ€" scheduled to May 26 in the event of rain.
