The course was designed for teachers working in reserve com- munities, those who want to im- prove their lessons on Indian cul- ture, or who have some Indian children in their classes. The course covers Indian his. torical background, the contem- porary situation, the role of the A course for teachers of Indian children is one of six new sum- mer courses offered by the On- tario department of education this year.
