One panel shows the resulis of poor management of natural reâ€" sources, such as flooding and erosion of farm land, the other five show how the authority works on an overâ€"all plan of managing the resources through Inadequate Natural Drainage Northern Grand River Valley Better drainage, according to a survey â€" conducted by â€" the department, is the most importâ€" ant need among Ontario farmers today. Adequate drainage systems The West Luther demonstration area. located in the northern part of Wellington county, shows how proper drainage can result in better crops for the farmers. Mr. Stewart told an audience estimated at 100 persons. that the reciamation of. and conservation of land is the last frontier to be conquered in ‘anada. There is no more land left to find in Eastern Canada, he said, so we have to pult to better use that land we now have.
