Initially, the program will be offered to the 325 nursery schools and 1537 kindergartens in Ontario. It is estimated that this will reach 100,000 youngsters. The â€"traffic safety â€" course consists of a teacher‘s manual of nine lessons built around five simple safety rules, rules which were developed to covâ€" er the main causes of acci dents to the four and five year old age group. The rules are basicaMy protective and do not in any way encourage selfâ€" reliance at this age level. They are as follows: 1. Safe places to play are where you will not be hutt. 2.
