Outdoor Adventure ‘ (Continued from Page 4) (Continued from Page 4) everlooking these important team members last week, we will see they receive an extra serving of turkey on Wednes wuar Dubrick, our new enterâ€" tainment chairman for this year, has asked that we make the following announcements. Gar has set May l4th for th: date of his first dance. He has lined up a special orchestra for this occasion, made up of a brass section, bull fiddle, piano and drums. By the sound of the description he gave this correspondent, we are lead to believe he is imâ€" porting than in directly from an engagement in Las Vegas or Southern Texas. At any rate they are supposed to be a top notch orchestra and we would suggest if our members want to have a good evening of fun and dancing they be sure to attend this Gar‘s first dance, since taking office. On Saturday, May 21st, Gar is planning an afternoon social, highlighting it with a bang up horseâ€"shoe _ tournament. Ail horseâ€"shoe pitchers are asked to get in shape for this big day and come out and display their â€" skills. The following Saturday, May 28th, there will be another dance at the club with Larry Dahmer and his one man band providing the music. We will report more about this dance in next week‘s news report. of gold will have risen to $20.00 for this meeting, and this alone should make it worth while for our members to attend. If this is not enough inspiration for to come out to the meeting, remember last weekâ€"end the trout â€" season opened and if we do not miss our guess, there should be some pretty tall fishing stories go‘ing around. Some of these stories might be well worth while listening to, even if they appear to be a little doubtful. See you Monday night at the Thuraday, May 5, 1960 . Members are reminded of the regular monthly meeting on Monday, May 9th. The pot meeting. Smith, Rev. Orville Hossie and Dr. David Ernst are all ex Naval officers also. With this amount of experience and leaâ€" dership is it any wonder then that Warspite has won many honours? Trophies and penâ€" nants have been won in comâ€" petition with other provincial units and with corps‘ from across Canada at summer trainâ€" ing establishments. In 1958 RCS.C.C. Warspite was awardâ€" ed the Nelson Trophy, em blamatic of the most efficient unit in Canada with an enrollâ€" ment of 100 cadets. On Board With At the present time there are 60 cadets in the Corps all rounding out the years trainâ€" ing and trying desvnerately to be one of the lucky 18 who will be selected to fly to Sydâ€" ney. N.S. in July for two weeks of practical summer training. Looking Ahead (Continued from Page 11) hard winters training at which time the Inspecting Officer, Cdr.
