The Naval Officers Asâ€" sociation â€" award and â€" Navy League prize, both won by Don Poole, were presented by Dr. Ross and Mr. Montgomery. Cdr. G. Haslam; FIt. Lt. V. Cressman, C.O. Air Cadets; Lt. M. Davidâ€" son Assistant Area Officer, H.M.C.S. York, Toronto; Mr. M. A. Montgomery, President Navy League; Dr. J. G. Ross, Chairman Sea Cadet Commitâ€" tee; Mr. Jack Ellis, Sec. Treaâ€" surer Navy League and Dr. Fred Uffelman; On Leave On leave from HM.C.S. Cornâ€" wallis in Nova Scotia and preâ€" sent at the inspection were three former Sea Cadets, who left us last Christmas to join the RC.N. It was a pleasure to wecome D. Holden, W. Smith and Murâ€" ray â€" Schwartz, who recently graduated, high up on the list, from _ their Basic Training Course. Though the Annual Inspecâ€" tion is the final formal parade until next September we are always ready to accept recruits and training continues in one form or another all summer long. Two senior cadets will be leaving for Halifax and Cornâ€" wallis at the end of June for seven week courses.
