Keppel District. ‘ Toronte Trip Enjoyed The 3rd Waterloo Cubs of St. Louis Church had a very enjoyable trip _ to Toronto, Thursday, May 7th., under the guidance of their Leaders Mrs. Joe Dietrich and Mrs. Edward which pleased the boys as they saw many interesting sights on the journey including boats awaiting their turn to dock in the Toronto harbour. On arriâ€" val the Cubs started off the day by attending Mass at St. Michael‘s Cathedral, followed by a three hour tour of the Toronto Zoo. After lunch was consumed they took off again for a tour of the beautiful and historical Casa Loma Their bus ride home was highlighted by a short stop over at the Malton Airport, where the boys enâ€" joyed the thrill of seeing the hangars, and many aircraft in cluding the big Super Consteâ€" lations taking off and landing. Holiday Hike Monday, May 18th approxiâ€" mately 20 Cubs of the 17th Kitâ€" Kitchener for 18th approxiâ€" the 17th Kitâ€" chener Pack under the superâ€" vision of Akela Wm. Evans, enâ€" joyed °a hike to Cressman‘s Woods. A scavanger hunt was enjoyed followed by the makâ€" ing of lean to‘s, under which the boys ate their picnic lunch. The afternoon‘s outing was rounded out with the traditionâ€" al campfire and a jolly singâ€" song. Girl Guide Camp _ The North Kitchener Girl Guide Camp was held last weekend at Paradise Lake.
