But, you brought him into the world . . . he‘s part of you and he can be the greatest thing that ever happened to you if you take the time to mould him along the lines you want him to follow. ALTHOUGCH WE HAVE BEEN checking various secâ€" tions of the country for inâ€" formation â€" on fishing, we seem to have come up with the same answer. This, so far as the trout and pickerel are concerned seems to indicate that the lake trout for instanâ€" ce haven‘t in many waters come in over the shoals to feed as yet & the pickerel are hittâ€" ing only in a very spotty fashion. While its only a theory, we believe that the numerous eold nights we are experiencing this year has & great deal to do with it. There has been no warm spell during which the fish could be put on the prod, except in April before the fishing season opened. Speckled trout catches are standing up fairly well but most fish are being taken in the middle of the day, not morning and evening. This condition could of course change in a matter of days. Given a week of warm days and nights and the fish could go on the feed in a big way. Fish being the unpredicâ€" table critter they are, a man would be pretty foolish to say defimitely what they would do HAVE THAT BIG FISH YOU CATCH MOUNTED TRUE TO LIFE 809 Belmont Blyd., Phone SH 2â€"0696 Fisher‘s Taxidermy FISHERMEN by Herb COT A WOMAN OR a gir that is nterested in fishing? After all, its doubtful if a fish cares whether he is caught with a pink rod and blue reel, or whether the tackle used is the natural colors associated with fishing. DO YOU HAVE A BIG brown trout located? This usually happens to every tront fisherâ€" man at least once during the year. He can locate the fish but can‘t take him. Last year we rose one Dig brown every time we fished this particular stream. An acâ€" comodating cuss, he would take a slash at our first ofâ€" fering regardless of what it happened to be. Then he would retire under the bank and laugh at the rest of our efforts.
