The script, written by Madge Miller and Larry Villani, tells how as a result of an accident a young girl becomes sensitive to the waveâ€"length used by creatures from another planet to broadcast messages. In vain she tries to warn the authorities of an imminent invasion, but they are all for committing her to an asylum. One of the leading actors in "The Third Ear‘‘ will be the young Torontonian, John Elliott, who recently made his television debut in "A Look in the Window". The play can be viewed over CKCOâ€"TV and the CBCâ€"TV network. Ten years ago, on June 6, 1944, the Allied Forces under the supreme command of General Eisenhower landed in Normandy and opened the final phase of the war for the liberation of Ekurope from Nazi domination. CBCâ€"TV has arranged for films of the invasion beaches, as they appear today, to show on CBC News Magazine this Sunday along with films of the invasion fleet and troops in action 10 years ago.
