W. Fleel (Chronicle Correspondent) Baden ratepayers are now faced with another major problem. The public school is overcrowded. Juâ€" nior teachers are now teaching over forty pupils each. There are two grades in the classes. Grades «4 CKCR Weekly Radio Logp|‘ 7 and 8 are the only ones of an avenfle size. The board at the annual meeting last week exâ€" plained that there are a number of alternatives in lessening the size of the grades. Pupils from the upper classes could be transâ€" ported to another school. Extra rooms might be rented in the vilâ€" lage. At the present time this does not seem possible. An addiâ€" tion could be built on the present building. This would cost considâ€" erably since the old school is square and high. A new heating unit would have to be added. The present one is taxed to capacity now. A number of other changes would have to be made. In the near future a new school will be inevitable. A number of ratepayâ€" "Tass Io d dilâ€"cegucet progrem dedi. cated to the shutâ€"ins of Presport ers feel that spending money on anything temporary is a needless waste. It is to be. expected that the suggestion of a new building would meet with considerable opâ€" rosltion. Mention of welfare of he pupils and the furtherance of their education was conspicuous \ by its absence.â€" V’Rhe first accident in Bade. for 1954 occurred on New Year‘s Day. giving fashion news; b recipes and music for Tfl'â€"‘, Gay Lombardo, for your listening pleasure.
