The children sang the hymn, "Jessus, Thou Art Calling Me" after which Rev. Mr. Schmieâ€" der delivered a message based on the text, I Chron. 13:14. Beatrice Goodwin, president of the Children of the Church and J. Carse then read suitable scripture verses and made the presentation of two brass offering plates to the congregation on behalf of the Children of the \Church. Following the presentation the children sang, "We Give Thee But Thine Own". The church choir also rendered an anthem. Daffodils decorated the altar of the church for the occasion. â€" Holy Communion was celebrated at two of the village churches on Sunday morning. At the Bethel MB.C. Church t.hl;fmor, Rev. H. Shantz officiated a mixed quarâ€" tette composed of the Misses getty Shantz and Reta Coleman, Lincoln Coleman and Waldron Eckstein rendered sgecial music. Rev. H. F. The May meeting of the New Hamburg and District Ministerial Association was held at the United Church parsonage in Plattsville on Monday afternoon with the followâ€" ing members in attendance: Rev. Moores who are leaving their reâ€" spective pastorates this summer and thus severing their connections with the Association.
