GRAPE JELLY By Katharine Baker Making grape jelly by the moâ€" dern shortâ€"boil metKHed will not present the hazards that used to confront mother. When made the oldâ€"fashioned way in spite of all her skill and hard work the jelly was very apt to form little crysâ€" tals resulting in a grittiness that must indeed have been very disâ€" couraging. This was due to the high content of fruit salts in grapes and when the juice had to be boiled so extensively these salts became very concentrated thereby forming the ervstals as the jelly gooled and set With the use of fruit pectin there‘s no gucss work. You‘re asâ€" sured of a smooth. richly colored jelly. and more of it for none of the juice is lost in boiling away. â€" Social = Tested RECIPES Ripe Grape Butter HERE AGAIN Mr. and Mrs. E. G.
