PRESTON. â€" Prices were unâ€" changed from last week at Preston market Saturday morning with eggs selling at 23 and 25c a dozen for medium and large grades respectiveâ€" 1y.. A few" farmers offered small grade at 20c a Gozen. Butter again sold at 24 and 26¢.a pound and chickâ€" en at 25¢ a pound. Attendance at the market was the poorest for many weeks, according to farmers who reported sales as being dull. Farmers were unable to acâ€" count fo the small attendance. Beets, carrots and parsnips again sold at 15c a basket and orflons at 20c a basâ€" ket. Cabbage was 5¢ a head and turâ€" nips two for 5¢e. Little or no changes in previous prices were reported at Saturday‘s session of Kitchener market. Prices were as follows: Meat vendors reported heavy sales with fresh pork sausage bringing 26 cents, smoked pork sausage 28 cents, bacon 26 cents, ribs 26¢, backbone 18 and 20 cents, tenderloin 35c¢, sirloin 32e, ham 21 to 25 cents; head cheese 15¢c, and jellied meat 22c.
