There passed away early Thursâ€" day evening, Aug. 29th, Mr. John H. Wagner, after an illness of about a year and a half of carcinomia. The deceased was critically ill last year when his end was feared, but had rallied steadily until last week when he was rather suddenly conâ€" fined in bed, and when Dr. Wm. Glaister was called on Thursday last was given only a few hours to l_ive. Deceased was the son of the late Conrad Wagner and Barbara Hamâ€" mer. He was born July 16, 1861, in Wilmot Township, and spent all| his life in farming. On March 8, 1887, he was married to Amelia Lismer of North Easthope. Their union was blessed with two duugh»l ters and five sons, namely, Martha (Mrs. Milton Schweitzer) of Milverâ€"| ton, Clara (Mrs. Wilfred Lemp) of Kitchener, and Conrad (preceded).‘ Albert and Philip of Berlet‘s Corâ€" ner, Louis in Stratford, and Theoâ€" dore in _ Northwestern Clnldl.‘ Twenty grandchildren also survive to mourn the loss of an active and. well known citizen; also one brothâ€" er, Rev.
