The local eoftball team was preâ€" gented with a bat and ball as a result of winning an exhibition game played with the Ayr Rangers at Ayr on Dominion (Day. The ecore was 14â€"5. Last week‘s league games which were all played at the local Athletle Park proved to be unsuccessful for the New Dundee team. Or Thursday night they suffered a defeat at the hands of the Ayr Rangers by a acore of 84 and on Friday night by the Doon team, 16â€"11. The Community Park Board is at Alderside Point, on Friday evenâ€" «ponsoring a Garden Party to be held ing, July 12th.
