Mr. Hirechman of Zion Church, Kitchener, preached a very instrucâ€" tive and practical sermon on the "Human Side of Jesus". An out standing feature ofâ€"the evening seorâ€" vice was the presence of the Olivet choir of Kitchener, 22 strong. This choir belongs to the youngest misâ€" eion of the Evangelical Church in the Conference. ‘There have been many visiting choirs here in the past furnishing the singing on spe cla1 occasions but Olivet Choir under the leadership of Mre. EVANGELICAL CHURCH ANNIVERSARY SERVICES Mrs. Joseph Kimmei Following & brief illness, Mrs. Louisa Kimmel, relict of the late Joâ€" seph Kimmel of Kitchener, died there on ‘Thursday, Feb. 28th. De ceased was a native of Buffalo, N.Y., and was 88 years of age. Rev. J. Ure Stewart of Conestogo officiated at the services. The funeral took place on Thurs day (today) at two o‘clock from the late residence thence to the Mennoâ€" nite Church at Bloomingdale for serâ€" vices with interment taking place in the adjoining cemetery. His wife, nee Erma Horst, only deaughter of Mr. and Mre. Amos Horst, became his bride on June 22, 1927, and now survives with their one and oneâ€"half year old son. Mr. Steenson was 80 years of age and leaves to mourn his loss his widow, formerly Jane Ann Honsinger of Yatton, 2 sons, Leelie of Goldstons, Philip of North Mornington and one daughter, Alva, Mre. Alex.
