Game Warden Lays Charge Against Several Young Men; Court Game Warden Dave Litwilier had a unique éxperience recently, when he came uponâ€"a party of five Kiteh ener men, shootling a few miles south west of here. Requesting to see their hunting licenses two of the party could not produce the neces sary documents while one of these tried to repossess his gun after the game warden had seized it. The epiâ€" sode resulted in Police iCourt .proâ€" ceedings at Woodstock on Saturday, during which the two offenders reâ€" ferred to, were foupd guilty of obâ€" structing an officer and ahooting without licenses, while another memâ€" ber of the party was found guillty of carrying a loaded gun in a motor car. On the Obstruction charges, sentence was suspended, with costs assessed against the offenders. A fine of $10 and costs was imposed on the charge of having no shooting license, while costs only were assessed on the charge Of having a loaded gun in a motor car. She had been ill for some years Deceased, whose maiden name was Margaret Huber, was borr near St. Clements and lived in this disâ€" trict her entire life. Her husband predeceased her 14 years. Surviving are one son, Louis, of Bamberg, and one daughter, Mrs. Ignatz Druar of Kitchener. Two daughters predeâ€" ceased her. Seventeen grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren also surâ€" vive. The funeral was held Saturday morning from her residence in the village to the Roman Catholic Church for service and burial in the adjoining cemetery. Mary Hergott j Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hergolt, 126 Ahrens St., Kitchener, have the sinâ€" cere sympathy of friends in the loss sustained through the death of their daughter, Mary Hergott, aged 16 months, who died Oct. 26th at the St. Mary‘s Hospital. Her parents and one brother, Ralph survive. The funeral was held from the family residence on Friday to St. Mary‘s Church at 9 9 a.m. for mass. Interâ€" ment was made in Mount Hope cemetery. Miss Magdalena Dorschel There passed away at the family residence, 78 Weber St. W., Kitchâ€" ener, on Oct. 27th, Miss Magdalena Dorschel in her 7ist year. She is survived by one brother, John, and four sisters, all of Kitchener, Mrs. George Gilloth, Mrs. Jacob Affâ€" holder, Mrs. A. Ruby and Mrs. Leo Kieffer. The funeral took place on Monday. Mrs. Catherine Schmidt Death removed an esteemed counâ€" ty resident, Mrs. Catherine Schmidt, who died at the family residence, 62 Elgin etreet, Kitchener on Friday. She was the widow of the late Henry D. Schmidt, and was in her 79th year. For four months she bad been confined to her home. She was born in Waterico Township, near New Hamburg. Surviving are two daughâ€" ters, Miss Louise Vollmar at home and Mre. Harry O. Knechtel. One granddaughter also survives. The funeral was held on Monday afterâ€" noon with services at the home, thence to St. Paal‘s church. Interâ€" ment was made in Mount Hope Ceâ€" metery. Taylor Munro conducting the setvices. Burial was made at Mount Hope Cemetery at Waterl00. An esteemed Wellesley Township rcsident, Christian G. Erb, died at the home of his son, Noah O. Erb, near Wellesley, Saturday morning. Deceased was in his 78th year and had been ill for several months. He was born in Hay township, July 31, 1855, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Erb, and was married there to Miss Barbara Oesch, who predeceased [him. In earlier years he was a carpenter by trade but later farmed in this district. On their retirement he moved to Welâ€" lesley. He is survived by his son, Noah O. Erb, Wellesley, and two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Lichty of Cassel and Miss Annie Erb at home; three brothers, Daniel and Jacob Erb of Nebraska and John Erb of Zurich, and three sisters, Mrs. Christian Jantzi and Mrs. Jacob Schweitzer of Nebra:rka and _ Mrs. John Boshart of Oniel, Nebraska. The funeral took place Friday morning to Maple View Amishâ€"Menâ€" nonite Church for service. Interâ€" ment was made in the Maple View Amish Mennonite cemetery. Rev. Dan,. Lebold, pastor of the Wellesley church, prencied the sermon. Child Dies The death occurried at the K. & W. Hospital on Saturday of the three weeks old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Jackson.
