CHILD KILLED AT BARRIE The first automobile fatality at Barrie in three years occurred late Saturday afternoon when George Plowman, fiveâ€"yearâ€"old son of Hugh ~Plowman, local commercial travelâ€" ler, was instantly killed as he darted from the sidewalk on Bredford Street into the path of an automoâ€" bile driven by Herbert Eckel, 18 Dill St., Kitchener. Eckel, accomâ€" panied by his wife and four emall children, were enroute for Baysville, Muskoka, for a holiday. He was not held. An inquest is unlikely.
