It was pointed out that the demand from‘ United States for Canadian cattle is steadily in- creasing and that prospects for the current rear! are particularly bright. The marked improve- ment in the quality of Canadian pure-bred cattle of late years has increased the demand for cattle from this and other districts and it was stated that had the stock been available another '10,000 worth of cattle could have been disposed of. It was noted by one speaker that 'ihnditions in the Eastern States are not as suitable for raising cattle as in this province which was one reason why Canadian cattle were in demand. iiiiimovmc QUALITY or uvn s'rocx l l m WAnnwo comm-n l. Efforts to increase the quality of live stock in this and other cou'nties cannot but redound to the benefit of the farmers and add to their income at a time when prices of other farm produce generally are at a low figure. for the month of December, 1931, disclose the as th fact that citizens of the town are making wide- would spread use of the facilities offered by this in- and e stirs tion, the patronage of which has markedly anott in ed during the past year or two.
