NEW DUNDEE Suffering a paralytic stroke, Mr.J Lorentz Schmidt, deacon of the New , Hamburg Baptist Church, died at kis home on Friday morning. Deâ€"‘ veased who bas resided here since| 1922 when he retired from the l'arml on which he was born had been ill about five months. He was in hisl Tord year. Mr. Schmidt was well known throughout the town and eeâ€" pecially for his many worthy acts in the church,. He farmed until his ; retirement nine years ago.
