The market for good ewe and vether lambs was steady to 25 cents per ewt. higher than on Monday, with the bulk selling about evenly divided as regarded numbers at 6% to 7 cents per pound. Cull lambs sold barely steady at 4% to 5 cents, and the run of some 2,000 lambs was all that he market could absorh, tradâ€" ing turning draggy toward the close. Sheep sold steady at 1 to 3 cents per pound. Good etore cattle were fairly actâ€" ive, though prices stopped at a top 0‘ 4% cents per pound for a load averaging 840 pounds, while plain to medium stockers and feeders were elow at 3% to 44 cents, and some common light stockers sold as low as 2%4 cents per pound.
