Forler of Galt spent Sunday here among friends. FORMER RESIDENT Death of William D. Ludwig Came as a Shock to His Numerous Acquaintancesâ€"Spent Boyâ€" hood Days Here. Another sudden demise which also came as a great surprise to his old time acquaintances here was that of Mr. William D. Ludwig of Eimira, who spent his boyhood days on his father‘s farm about halfâ€"aâ€"mile east of this little hamlet, but later went into business in Elmira. Another Native Son Passes to his Rewardâ€"In the recent death of Mr. Thomas Fenton, of Yatton, Wallenâ€" stein lost one of, its oldest native sons, the late Mr. Fenton having been born one mile south of here in 1850. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Fenton of Nova Seotia, and a nephew of the late Senator Landerkin, of Hanover, Ont. He was one of a family of eleven children, of which only one sister and two brothers survive. He is also survived by his widow and a family of seven children. Personals. _ Mr. Wim.
