Death of Levi Snyder Fashlonable Wedding ~ Mr. Fred Breithaupt of Kitchener was one of the two groomsmen. Theâ€" relatives and friends in this vicinity, of Mr. Levi Snyder of Bridgeport were shocked on Thursâ€" day last to hear of his unexpected death. The deceased had been a patient of the K.â€"W.hospital for but a few days and gave all signs of improving until his sudden deparâ€" ture Wednesday evening. Quite a few from here and imâ€" mediate vicinity attended the funâ€" eral from his late home in Bridgeâ€" port on Saturday afternoon. Honored by Friends About forty friends of Mr. and Mrs. â€" Oliver â€" Scheifele surprisedl them at their home on Thursday evening. This gathering had been staged as a sendâ€"offâ€" as Mr. and Mrs. Scheifele and family expect to leave our village in the not too disâ€" tant future to make their home in Waterloo. During the evening Mr. Walter Snider made a very approâ€" priate address and Mrs. Louis Banâ€" man made the presentation of a very beautiful floor lamp to which Mr. Scheifele replied expressing their thanks to the guests for the remembrance. The evening was spent in the usual social manner followed by a dainty lunch which the ladies had ‘provided. Schinbein reâ€" ceived the sad news over the week end of the somewhat sudden death of their niece, Miss Edith Edier in Elmira. They attended the funeral on Monday. While 'nwlng wood with a circular saw at their home he was caught in the belt of the engine and sustained injuries which resulted in his death. The funeral service and interment took place from his home to the Elora R. C. church and cemetery last Sunâ€" day. The sincere sympathy of the community is extended the family in their sad bereavement. . Died at Kitchener.â€"Mr. Edwin Devitt received @word last Saturday of the death of his sister, Miss Meâ€" linda Devitt, of Kitchener. The funeral took place on Tuesday. Attended Funeral.â€"Quite a num-] ber from around here attended the‘ funeral of the late Eddie Wilson, which took place last Sunday afterâ€" noon at Elora when services were held in the R. C. church and interâ€" ment was made in the R. C. cemeâ€" tery. The deceased, who was only 22 years of age, was accidentally killed on his father‘s farm near Middlebrook â€" last Thursday afterâ€" noon while sawing wood. Eddie was well known around here and was highly respected, and his sudden death came as a great shock to his many friends. Deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved family in this their hour of bereavement. Died at Torontoâ€"Much sympathy is extended to Miss Ethel Colquoâ€" hon, teacher of the senior room here, in the death of her mother. who passed away last Thursday in Toronto.
