Fall Fair here last Saturday was a ship model constructed by a 12â€"yearold immigrant lad named Bérnard Janz now residing in Baden, The model was a miniature reproduction of the 8. 8. Minnedosa, on which the young lad emigrated from his home in the Russian Ukraine to Canada in April, 1924. They had 10 ‘days at sea and during this time the inâ€" dustrious youngster took in all the details of the ship‘s construction, which heâ€" afterwards minutely reâ€" produced. The directors of the Fair will award a special prize to the lad for his ingenuity. _ On Sunday was the T2nd anniverâ€" sary of the Baptist Church in this village.
