WenzeL Celebrated Silver Wedding. An event of much interest was the silver wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hammer, which â€"was celebrated Friday, Dec. 15th, at their home here. It was just twontyâ€"five years ago that Mr. William Hammer and Miss Katherine Koehler embarked upon a matrimonial venture, they being married December 15th, 1897. ‘They have been residents of Wilmot Township for a quarter of a cenâ€" tury. Guests to the number of 75 gathered to celebrate the occasion, coming from Hamilton, Wellesley, Freston, Linwood, Kitchener, Detroit and other points.
