Again the Councit was divided on the question of the amount to be paid teamsters. In the report it ‘was re !nnened that they be paid 60 cents per hour, an increase over last year of 15 cents per hour. Councillors Sturm and Stroh thought that 55e per â€"bour was plenty, but the others were of the opinion that in view of the increased eost of upkeep of horses 60c was not 100 much The clause was passed.
