EATH OF P DANI The death took _ plgce on Thursday of one of Berlin‘s ‘aged residents, Daniel L. Knechtel, at his residence, 21 Pandora avenue. The deceased had been in illâ€"health for about two years. He was botn in Germany in 1845 and when about six months of age came to Canada with his parents who loâ€" cated in Waterloo Township. The deâ€" ceased lived the greater portion â€" of his life in Mannheim where he engagâ€" ed in farming and sawâ€"milling. _ He was also ‘an . employe of the J.Y. Shantz Co‘s. button factory for some years. He moved to Berlin _ about four years ago. He is survived _ hy his bereaved widow, four sons . and one daughter, Albert and William H, of Berlin, Allan of Canboro, Jacob, and Mrs. Albert Hoffman of Mannâ€" heint. \ Mr. Michael Knechtel and Mrs. Sam â€" Rellinger _ of â€" Bertin, _ are ‘hrother and sister respectively of the deceased.
