Schneider of Queen St., Berlin, departed this life, after a lingering illness on Friday, the 22nd Mrs. Schnemier wasâ€" born in â€" the township of Blenheim on the 27th of Feb., 1846. Mer father, Mr. Samucl Fried, was one of the carly settlers in this part of Ontario, having travâ€" elted on foot from Bucks County in Pennsylvania to Waterloo County in 1825. The deceased, Margrate Rebecâ€" ca Fried, was marr‘ed â€" to Samuel B. Schneidet on the 2 4h of â€" Septâ€" ember, 1865.. This union was blessed with six children three of whom have died. The surviving children are Mrs. Stouffer of Bezlin, Roland of Stratâ€" ford and Elmer at home,â€" Mrs. Schâ€" neider is survived "by her _ hustand who «is _ five _ yea‘ts _ her â€" s@nior, and by cne brother and two . sisâ€" ters who were also â€"her seniors, she having been the youngest of her famâ€" ily. The deceased was of a retiring disposition, a faithful wife, . as well as a kind and dutiful mother. She was a respected member of the Mernorite Brethron in Christ _ deâ€" womination, and although _ afflicted for nearly three years, owing to a stroke of paralysis, she bore ber aMiction with true Christian patience and fortitude.
