There were atout 200 excursionâ€" ists, and all seemed to have had an enjoyableâ€" day‘s outing. The weather could not have been finer, and _ this also helped to make the excursion a pleasant one. It was the last day of the O.J.C. races,; and the excursion afforded an opportunity for attending them... The expressions of approval of the band‘sâ€" execlient playing were many and highly flattering, and should be a source â€"ofâ€"gratification to the band boys and thcit leader. Some present expressed 1t as their opinion that the playing of the W.M.S. Band was superior to any band which had visited the Woodbine during the races.
