- This is a photo of the Kuntz-Labatt House at 167 King Street S. in Waterloo. This house was built in 1844 by David Kuntz who was also the owner of Spring Brewery, later known as L. Kuntz Park Brewery, then Carling Brewery and finally Labatt Brewery. Labatt Brewery closed in 1993 and the buildings were demolished. The brewery buildings can be seen in the background of this photo. The house still stands today as part of the Erb and Good Funeral Home.
