- This is a thank-you letter in response to Olivia Schmuck who sent the Freise family a care package in Germany. The letter was sent from the Schwerin/Mecklenburg region of Germany on January 22, 1950.
- Notes
- The envelope has a tear where it was originally opened and the letters have a few tears along the crease marks.
Olivia Schmuck lived at 27 Peppler Street in Waterloo. In 1922 she married Albert Schmuck, who died in 1933. She became the matron-advisor nurse at the Sunshine Waterloo Company during World War II. She died in 1986. - Place of Publication
