- Description
- This letter is from Albert Schmuck, Waterloo Postmaster, to W.D. Euler. Euler was the Minister of National Revenue and the M.P. of the Waterloo North riding at the time.
This letter was sent in regards to an ongoing request from Albert Schmuck to have the Waterloo Post Office regraded, which would result in higher wages. In this letter, Schmuck is following up with a delay in the expected regrading of the Post Office, as indicated in a letter from Euler on Oct. 22, 1929.
Albert Schmuck held the position of Waterloo Postmaster from 1928 until his death in 1933. Albert Schmuck served in the 118th Battalion during the First World War and died from injuries sustained from mustard gas attacks. - Notes
