I competed in this competition.I'm second from the left in the front row.To my left is my friend and competitor(on the trumpet)Bob Anderson. We were both from Caledonia,Ont. I recall that we played Ave Maria and I was accompanied on the piano by my sister,Donnie. I recall that I won the silver medal being beaten by 1/2 point by another player! -David Parkes
