- View of Town (later City) hall building taken from Erb Street, west of Albert. Note the fire hall with bell tower in left background. As the Town Hall, the building also housed the first library for Waterloo.
- Notes
- The first Town Hall was built at the corner of Albert and Erb Streets in 1874. The city offices moved in 1961 and the building was demolished in 1969. The 1874 date stone can be viewed in the lobby of the Marsland Centre. The fire hall was built circa 1870 and demolished in 1966.
