- Cleason (Gleason) Shantz listed as coal and wood dealer in Vernon Directory of 1913 on Erb Street west of Albert Street. In 1901 and 1907 Directory, he is listed as a "farmer" in the same location. Levi Graybill is listed in the 1911 Directory for Waterloo as operator of Graybill and Shantz Wood and Coal Yard.
Levi Graybill was elected to town council in 1877-1883, 1887-1890, 1905-1906 and 1909, serving in
the position of deputy reeve from 1887-1889 and reeve in 1890 and from 1905-1906. He was Mayor from 1910 until his death 29 June 1911.
