Postcard with view of St. Louis school. Message on reverse to Francis Gehl of Breslau dated January 29, 1929.
Notes
In 1891, the School Sisters of Notre Dame opened two school rooms in the basement of St. Louis Church. The Sisters traveled daily from Kitchener for five years. In 1895, a convent was built. In 1905, a separate school building at the back of the church on Allen Street was constructed. The school closed in 1983.
